The City of Garden Grove has said that for Schools, Low Voltage Data cabling does not Need to have permits taken out. As a group, we felt that this is not correct.

However; until an inspector would come to sign off on aspects of the construction, this matter can’t be resolved. If this installation was going to actually take place, permits would be submitted and straight answerscould be obtained.

After checking with other areas, if permits are required, the fees should be about 5 to 10 Dollars per finished faceplate consisting of four RJ45 outlets per faceplate.
